Description:

RGP-FDB-032G-S  The smaller version Multi-Operator MDU Distribution Box is a fiber box solution that allows multiple service providers to connect customers in the same building via shared riser fibers. A basic MOB solution consists of one operator box and one customer box. The customer module to terminate the vertical cable(s) feeding the premises and the operator module to terminate the external network cable(s). The operator cable is terminated in the operator box, whereas the riser cable is terminated in the customer box. Service can be provided by a cross-connection between the operator and the customer box. All Multi-Operator MDU Distribution Boxes can be installed quickly and are stackable.

The Multi-Operator MDU Distribution Box allows the connection of several operators on a common network inside buildings. The MOB, which can be installed in the building basement, allows shared usage of the vertical backbone building cable (cable from the building basement to the connection housing on the floors) and the management of the fibers from the networks of several operators. A building network may house multiple interconnected customer and operator modules depending on requirements.

Feature:

The customer module can be equipped with up to 32 splices and patching for SC/UPC or SC/APC connectors.

The operator module can be equipped with up to 32 ruggedized pigtails.

The customer and operator modules are mechanically linked together creating a patching channel to route the fibers with ruggedized pigtails from one module to another.

Designated operator boxes are lockable and stackable.

In the case of shared vertical backbone building cabling, two or more operators can use separated operator modules to connect to the same customer module.

A dedicated storage area is available inside the operator module for non-connected pigtails.

To limit access to the modules, each module has two separate doors, one for the splicing area and one for the patching area, secured with an Allen key.

Six single-element trays are available per module.

All cables are safely secured inside each module.

Within the modules, all fibers are positively managed to maintain a 30mm minimum bend radius.

The customer module can accommodate a variety of different connector types.

Standardized dimensions, according to the recommendations of TELEFÓNICA, approved for the main operators.

Application:

FTTH access network.
