Meanwhile, such value-added modules as optical splitters and wave-division multiplexers ( WDM ) can be installed as a requirement by customers.
It is used for the intermediate distribution of optical cables, implementing cross-connection and route configuration of optical fibers between optical transmission nodes. After the optical introduction unit is installed, it can serve as the optical distribution cabinet for either splicing & distribution. It is a high-density, moderate-capacity and front-facing operation optical distribution cabinet, used for splicing and distribution or intermediate distribution.

Up to 6 units make up a module.
