Description:
The Fiber Optic Splice Tray are designed to provide maximum physical protection for fusion splicing, and it can be used with both loose tube and tight-buffered cable design. It provides a location to store and to protect the fiber cables and the splices. Each tray provides space for mounting fiber splice protectors and excess fiber. It's divided into a common splice tray, module integration, and splitter tray.
Each fiber tray can be melt with any other strand of optical fiber in the tray, Optical cable fiber can be melted with the fiber optic pigtail end, and via pigtail, it can connect out to other fiber optic equipment. Each plastic tray is supplied with a cover to protect the splices and prevent them from becoming damaged or being misplaced.
The Fiber Splice Cassettes feature subscriber trays each tray accommodating two splices or providing storage for uncut and dark fibers. The trays are hinged and can be opened individually, allowing for separate installation of fiber pairs without disturbing other fibers.
Features and Benefits:
Equipped with 2 mounting holes to provide flexibility to closure.
Accommodate up to 24 splices. Available with splice chips for most types of splicing (i.e., bare fusion, mechanical, etc.).
Integrate welding and fiber distribution, maximize densification.
Plastic trays, stackable design allows higher splice density.
The splice tray can be removed from the device and offers convenient operation.
Apply to ribbon optical cable and non-ribbon optical cable.
Meet to IEC and RoHS Compliant.
24 fusion splices per tray.
Modular splice holder of six splices.
Minimum fiber bending radius maintained.
Splice-tray configurations offered: 6, 12, and 24 Fibers.
Types of Splice Trays: Plastic with a clear cover.
